The Urban League of Lancaster County and The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce present the 2009 Champions of Diversity Award
Do you know an individual or business organization that demonstrates an appreciation for and commitment to diverse groups? Who empowers individuals to improve the condition of their own lives? Promotes best inclusion practices in workplace inclusion?
The Urban League of Lancaster County in partnership with The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize such individuals and/or businesses for their contributions to the community. Award recipients will be recognized at the annual Urban League Equal Opportunity Day celebration on June 18, 2009.
Purpose: The Champions of Diversity Award recognizes individuals and/or organizations that promote diversity by building bridges between diverse communities, empowering others to improve their life and promoting inclusion in the local community.
Definition: Diversity for the purpose of this award is defined as persons or groups of different races, ages, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientations, religious backgrounds, or physical and mental abilities.
